5'8" Black Bear Rug with no felt (MNTaxidermy)
« on: April 03, 2012, 03:12:15 PM »
Here is another Bear Rug that I finnished up a couple months ago.  Thought I'd post some pictures up.  This one was done with no felt by special request.  This Bear and the 4'4" Color Phase were killed by a couple of brothers.

:yeah:
I think I like it better. Nice.

Then when company comes over that is freaked by taxi'd animals, you can turn it upside down and it looks like your coat laying on the floor  :chuckle:

These are the first 2 I've ever done and it is taking me a little longer to warm up to the idea of No Felt.  Personally I like my Rugs with Felt.  Thats just me though.   :chuckle:

I have to agree with the rest, it looks better without the felt.

Does the price change any?

I am hoping to put an arrow in one, this fall, and my Home Regime said it would be made into a rug.  Michelle, you know where I'm coming to get it done.  ;-)

I really like the no felt! What town are you actually located in? I think I'm going to be moving pretty close to you know.

Question I got a grizz last year that I just had tanned out. Is okay looking but would I ever be able to have it rugged? Tanned its around 8' 3"

thanks
If you shoot the first one you will never get that true trophy.
